Knights of Real Estate Taxes (RETA) have been Surprised due to the change of the decision No. 425 of 2009 which the Minister of finance issued to establish "the Fund for Social Protection for Employees in Real Estate Tax Authority and its Local Administrations" on 27 July 2009. the Minister of finance has replaced the statement of "The General syndicate of real estate taxes" into "The general trade union of workers in banks and insurance. This confirms that Egyptian government is against the trade union pluralism, also this confirms that the Egyptian Trade Union Federation (ETUF) which Exercises many pressure to change this decision is considered as a stumbling block against the will and interests of workers.Although its failure which Proved clearly from all the labor movements in the past three years and the demands of the workers to withdraw confidence from its trade union committees, The Egyptian Trade Union Federation (ETUF) continues standing against the interests of workers, and Maintaining its interests only.
