Within the framework of the activities of the Working Woman Permanent Conference, the Center for Trade Union and Workers Services "CTUWS" invites you to participate in the second convention of the Permanent Conference which will be held from 19 to 20 December 2014 to discuss its last year Report of Activities and put its plan of activities for the next year.

It is worthy to mention that the Working Woman Permanent Conference is an entity for the Egyptian working women, an organizational form which is broader and more comprehensive than the other traditional forms and an umbrella for all the organizational forms and initiatives acting in the field of the working women's rights in particular and the Egyptian working women in general. It aims to empower them to perform their role in defending their rights and to work together for removing all the barriers and obstacles which prevent them from performing this role or prevent them from  reaching leadership positions in work or in civil society organizations.

The CTUWS adopted this initiative driven by our interest in the importance of the position of women in society, improving the work conditions of women, maintaining regular networking with women's issues and developing and strengthening the feminist movement through cooperation with the biggest number of Egyptian and Arab feminist and rights organizations in order to form joint visions and support more democratic mechanisms.

The Conference will be held from19 to 20 December 2014 at Safir Hotel in Dokki at 09:00 and will be attended by more than 75 women trade union leaders from various governorates and sectors. The conference agenda includes several sessions to discuss "the working women between a legislative status quo and a discriminatory society", presentations of live experiences on the major challenges which face the working women and putting a plan for the Conference's activities in 2015.

We invite you to attend the Conference and we are sure that your presence will be an added value to its success and the crystallization of its plan of action.
